A RARE COLLABORATION

Vestax PMC 05 Pro IV
One of the last pieces to come from what I consider to be the “golden era” of DJ Battle mixers. Released in 2010 the Vestax PMC 05 Pro IV was the 4th iteration of the classic 05 design and came in both black and red versions.
This mixer sported XLR master outputs, which was a massive improvement from previous 05 models (previously RCA), fx send and return capability, along with a full band EQ (also a first for the 05 lineup)
In a time where DVS (Serato, Traktor, etc) was becoming the go to method for DJs, this was one of the first mixers to feature midi mappable buttons built straight onto the mixer. While you still needed to use a DVS box to use in conjunction with the softwares, the midi capability was a big step forward for DJ tech.
What made this mixer truly special was the
CF-X2 digital crossfader. Aside from the standard curve control you see on most mixers, this mixer featured independent lag control knobs for both the left and right cut in, allowing for arguably the sharpest cut in time any mixer has ever seen even to current day.
As time goes on these become increasingly a harder to find online, so when I saw this for sale online in the condition I knew I had to move on it.

Dunk Low Pro SB "True Red" 03'
The pinnacle of the dunk low sb era for me was the silver box era.
This is what myself and many collectors consider the golden era of sneaker collecting. All the sneakers between 2003-2004 in the iconic "silver box" are special to me and marked the time in which i started collecting. Most of these were out of reach for me monetarily, even if they were a fraction of the value you see today.
The "True Red" were always one of my favorite pairs. The red leather paired with a perfectly match red suede makes for the "TRUE RED" official box colorway.
I cant name a single better all red sneaker. The pair is so red its almost difficult to photograph correctly. Its truly a pair you must appreciate in hand.
This is truly an iconic piece of sneaker history that marks the ambitions of the SB design team and foreshadowed the pairs to come.
